Gilgal Christian Community (Gilgal) located in Magaliesburg, South Africa was founded in the year 2000 by Rabboni Ministries Trust (RMT). For more than three years (2001-2004), Gilgal’s purpose was to support and promote the vision of the late Moses Moandire who was at that time the pioneer and senior Pastor of Bazalwane Christian Fellowship (BCF). Gilgal’s main contributions to BCF were in the areas of youth and children’s ministries. In 2005, after the death of Pastor Moses, Gilgal became autonomous as a church and has continued to function as such until the present. Gilgal is currently overseen by Michael Russell who is also one of the original co-visionaries and trustees of RMT. He is strongly supported by Pastor Jeremiah Mfune (since 2003) and Pastor Matias Banda (since 2009) who both come from Malawi. Gilgal’s main focus and energy is directed toward youth discipleship.
